Mess-Free Dental Impressions
The iTero intraoral scanner uses breakthrough technology to take a true map of your mouth. It makes patients’ experiences better by making it unnecessary to get traditional impressions of the teeth.
Instead of using the goopy gel to get an impression and waiting for a model to be made, the impression is instead taken by the scanner. It takes highly detailed scans, creating a 3D map of the inside of your mouth in little time. It takes much less time than traditional impressions, and it isn’t messy.
The scanner takes digital impressions that are much more precise than other methods so that you can get the appliances you need. The items, such as temporary crowns, will fit much better when this method is used, making the adjustment period that is so often needed after a fitting no longer necessary.
